Camden Door Controls, CM-1000 Series surface mount switches meet the stringent demands of key switch controls. They are designed for use with standard 1", 1 1/8", or 1 1/4" mortise cylinders, fabricated from 1/4" thick aluminum into a one-piece die-cast construction. All controls provide for one (1) or two (2) switch configurations.

PreparationSelect the exact keyswitch plate/box, mortise cylinder, cam and required switch action before assembly. Fit the cylinder grooves to the matching retainers and secure its lock ring; use the correct bracket arrangement for this family. Position and secure the supplied switch so the cam acts at its center and depresses it only on the intended key operation. Test rotation/action, then make the selected contact connections and fasten the plate with the specified hardware. Follow the original template and cylinder/cam guidance rather than another family footprint.
