Low-voltage wiring Connection count needs review
PreparationThis listing is the cabinet-lock option of the CX-33PS assembly. Mount the cabinet level in a clean, dry location protected from the elements; mark its four wall-mounting holes and secure it with the supplied anchors and screws appropriate to the substrate. Allow clearance for opening the cabinet and accessing the labeled field terminals. Select the required operating mode, follow that cabinet wiring diagram, and confirm connections and adjustments before applying power. Use the cabinet terminal labels rather than the bare relay-board terminal numbering.
ElectricalThe cabinet includes the control relay, power supply and transformer. Connect the transformer low-voltage secondary to the VAC pair; the supplied-transformer diagram identifies 24VAC. Select the required 12V or 24V DC output and verify the delivered supply capacity before allocating loads: the installation manual specifies 2 Amps, while the current manufacturer product page describes 2.5 Amp. Dry-input contact pairs and a compatible low-voltage wet-input pair each use two conductors when selected. Relay outputs follow the chosen mode and supply-jumper arrangement. In the illustrated Mode1 strike circuit, a local +VDC-to-relay1-COM jumper supplies the selected NO or NC lock branch; the lock has two external conductors, one to the selected throw and one to -VDC. Separate dry control outputs use COM with NO or NC (two conductors), or both throws (three). Internal jumpers are not field cable runs. Determine field cable type, gauge, shielding and routes for the actual equipment. Transformer primary and other higher-voltage configurations are outside this low-voltage answer.
