Camden CX-12 PLUS Door Interface Relay provides all the functionality of the CX-12 and the CX-22 combined into 1 package. In addition, a new Ratchet Relay mode is provided, making the CX-12 PLUS one of Camden's most versatile door control relays available. Used as a make/break relay (or Switching Network), it eliminates the binding of locked automatic doors, by delaying the door operator until the strike or maglock de-activates first.

Low-voltage wiring Required
BasisStructured, independently qualified product connection evidence
PreparationAdjust the required operating mode and timers before applying power. The wrap-around sleeve provides access to LEDs, potentiometers and DIP switches; place the adjusted module in the operator header or secure it with the supplied Velcro. Complete secondary wiring before energizing. Wire safety devices directly to the operator control box as the manual instructs. Confirm mounting clearance and terminal access for the actual header.
ElectricalPower connects to terminals 1/2 for 12 or 24 volts AC or DC, non-polarized. The terminal table identifies relay 1 as NO3 COM4 NC5, relay 2 as NO6 COM7 NC8, WET1 as9/10, DRY1 as11/12, WET2 as13/14 and DRY2 as15/16. Wet inputs are powered; dry inputs are non-powered contacts. Each selected low-voltage input or COM/NO output loop needs two external field conductors; wet and dry alternatives and NC alternatives are not cumulative. Input functions and relay sequencing depend on the selected operating mode, including momentary, maintained, latching, sequencing or restroom operation. The manual smoke-mode prose conflicts with the terminal table by calling a powered-input pair a dry input; obtain the exact mode-specific diagram before using that interface. Receiver supply and output conductors are separate from the selected WET input pair. Select field cable gauge/type, routing and physical run quantities for the actual installation.
