PreparationHA8-SP is the standard-profile family. Select actual push/pull, surface/concealed, single/pair or dual-egress configuration and handed arm/header before preparing the opening. The assigned wiring drawing requires field preparation of the header box and suitable supporting fasteners. Locate access clear of hinges and operator mechanics; separate incoming mains and low-voltage access holes, route mains in conduit and keep incoming power ground on a separate stud from system ground. Use the matching exact arrangement template before fixing or cutting.
ElectricalThe HA8-SP brochure lists standard operating voltage 115VAC, while its assigned wiring-requirements drawing calls for incoming 120V AC,60Hz,15A service. Keep nominal equipment voltage and incoming service provision distinct;15A is not stated running current. The brochure identifies a separate 24VDC electric-strike output. Use the actual controller/generation manual for selected safety, activation and lock interfaces and keep mains and low-voltage wiring segregated. Header size and internal connections do not establish field conductor or cable-run totals.
