The CX-ED1079 series comprises the CX-ED1079 (low profile, 5/8" latch projection) and CX-ED1079D (standard depth, 3/4" latch projection) UL 1034/UL 294 listed 'Universal' Grade 1 ANSI electric strikes for cylindrical locksets. They offer field-selectable 12/24V AC/DC operation, fail-safe/fail-secure operation, and horizontal faceplate/body adjustment, with optional latch monitoring on both models.

PreparationThe strike is installed in a mortise cut in the door jamb to the depth in figure 4.1. Hollow metal frames use the supplied mounting brackets and #12-24 screws.
