Product specifications
Low-voltage wiring Connection count needs review
PreparationThis is a DPDT maintained replacement contact component. When fitting it to a compatible CM-1000 assembly, select the intended left/right switch position behind the faceplate. Fit the octagonal spacer nut on the switch stem, insert the switch from below and secure with the threaded washer. Adjust the switch and spacer height so the cylinder cam presses centrally, operates the contact fully and permits proper reset; test alternating on/off action. Confirm the actual host model, replacement mechanism and cam travel before fitting. Other host assemblies require their own matching instructions.
ElectricalThe purchased component is DPDT maintained changeover, with a low-voltage contact rating of 3A at30VDC. This rating is a switching limit, not a required power supply. The two independent poles each use grey common, orange for both throws; distinguish NO and NC by contact-state testing. In a direct-wired low-voltage control installation, use two field conductors per used pole for common and one throw, or three per used changeover pole for both throws. These are conditional circuit connections; internal wiring to a host device or local transmitter does not itself establish a field cable. The host manual describes18AWG soldered factory leads, which is not a field-cable gauge prescription for this replacement. Parent LED supply requirements do not apply to this contact part. Select cable type, gauge, shielding and physical routes from the connected equipment and installation.
