LCN 6400 COMPACT Series (Model 6440) is a modular low-energy automatic door operator. The 6440 motor gearbox assembly mounts onto a standard LCN 4040XP (or 4041) mechanical door closer, driving the closer's pinion to automatically open free-swinging interior doors without requiring removal/replacement of existing closer hardware. It is powered by a supplied 24VDC wall adapter/power supply and can be actuated by wired or wireless (battery) actuators, including touchless actuators, via a 9-position terminal block (24V IN, GND, 24V OUT, COMMON x3, ACTUATE, ENABLE SW, FIRE). It is ANSI/BHMA A156.19 listed, UL325/UL10C/FCC certified, and capable of meeting ADA requirements.
