PreparationSelect the actual CX-TR transformer model, secondary rating and standard, plug-in or panel/nipple mounting arrangement. Secure the selected transformer with suitable support and keep it away from combustible material. Follow the matching primary/secondary diagram, complete secondary connections before energizing the primary and provide the specified primary protection. Rectifier kits are distinct assemblies with their own mounting and wiring.
ElectricalSelect the exact transformer before using its primary and secondary ratings. Keep mains primary wiring separate from the low-voltage secondary and any rectifier output. The CX-TRK-2450 kit output is unfiltered and unregulated DC with AC ripple; it can cause undesired operation in electronics requiring clean power. Follow the selected original connection diagram and supply/load requirements rather than applying that kit output universally across the transformer family.
