Preparation	Select aligned contact and magnet positions with the door closed. Use a 3/4-inch (19 mm) drill bit to recess the CX-MDH contact into the door frame and the magnet into the door, deep enough for each to sit flush. Route the contact wiring neatly and secure the contact. Keep the contact-to-magnet gap no greater than 1-1/16 inch (27 mm). After installation, open and close the door to verify alignment and accurate door-status detection; adjust as needed.
Electrical	For a selected low-voltage monitoring circuit, field wiring connects the CX-MDH contact to the monitoring panel. The documented closed-loop configuration connects the monitoring panel to the two contact connections using two external conductors. Physical cable-run quantity, field wire type, gauge and shielding must be selected for the actual monitoring system and site; the manufacturer diagram does not specify them. Contact-load ratings are not a product power-supply requirement. The documented 22 AWG leads are factory leads, not a specification for the field cable.
