Camden Series 20 Pre Load electric strikes offer the highest pre load rating,12/24V AC/DC operation, adjustable keeper, fail safe/fail secure operation, and latch monitoring. Latch cavity accommodates cylindrical locksets with 1/2” to 5/8” projection (1/8” door gap required) with a range of faceplates for installation in steel, aluminum and wood doors.

PreparationMatch the exact CX-EPD-2030L body/faceplate configuration to the actual lockset and frame using the manufacturer ordering table and corresponding template. The body-only version requires the selected faceplate separately; other versions have different faceplate geometry. Adjust the keeper and selected fail-safe/fail-secure action, fasten with compatible hardware and test smooth latch engagement. Preload operation applies only in fail-secure mode.
ElectricalThe included CX-EPD2000L body accepts the selected AC/DC input shown in its original diagram. Verify supply output and actual voltage at the strike before connection; input polarity is not significant. Separate incoming power from the local coil network and the latch-monitor common/NO/NC output. Monitor contact rating is not supply input. Select actual monitoring, controller and cable schedule before specifying installed conductor, gauge or cable-run quantities.
