Camden CX-ED1309 Series Grade 1 ANSI electric strikes are designed for narrow stile aluminum door frames, featuring 'Universal' field selection of 12/24V AC or DC and fail safe or fail secure operation. CX-ED1309 electric strike body may be purchased with a separate ANSI square, ANSI round, hollow metal, or wood door faceplate; CX-ED1379 packages the strike body with two ANSI round faceplates (brushed aluminum and dark bronze finishes).

| Preparation | The CX-ED1379 package includes ANSI-round faceplates in brushed aluminum and dark bronze finishes. Select the actual faceplate for installation. Match the jamb preparation to the selected faceplate/template and actual latch projection. Install the mounting brackets loosely with the specified screws and pressed metal nuts, connect the low-voltage supply, fasten the strike and tighten the brackets. Verify alignment and preserve exit/panic hardware operation. Change fail-safe/fail-secure operation using the actual manual mechanism adjustment and test the completed assembly.
