PreparationHandle the magnet and armature faces carefully. Mount the magnet to the frame and the armature plate to the door using the supplied hardware so the plate can pivot for alignment. Affix the supplied template with the door normally closed, mark and drill the holes, and initially leave the screws finger tight. Check alignment before final tightening. Install the guide pins in the armature plate before mounting it. Use the exact surface-model template; do not copy mortise-model dimensions or the TDS-only LED step.
