PreparationThe evidence does not document mounting depth, a cutout or other preparation for this transmitter. The L2 option only changes the battery chemistry: AAA lithium instead of alkaline, required for outdoor use below 0C (-32F). The page 3 note in the spec sheet gives the same threshold as -32°F (0°C), which is inconsistent.
ElectricalCM-xxx-L2 identifies a wireless-switch option rather than one complete installed system. Match the actual switch/transmitter and selected receiver to the manufacturer family definition. Keep local battery/transmitter wiring distinct from separately powered receiver inputs and operator/lock relay circuits. The option name does not establish a universal power source, field conductor count, cable gauge or physical run quantity.
