Lazerpoint RF is a battery-powered 915MHz wireless door control system offering spread-spectrum wireless communication, signal-strength indicators, and 'push and learn' transmitter registration for easy installation. It spans the widest range of transmitters, receivers, activation devices, and switch boxes, including the CM-RX-90 single-relay receiver with 3 operating modes and the RX-92 two-channel receiver with 6 operating modes.

Product specifications
Wireless frequency 915 MHz spread spectrum
Battery multi-year battery life (AAA alkaline or lithium), with low-battery audible alerts, fuel-gauge indicator, and stuck-switch indicator
CM-RX-90 receiver 1 relay, 3 operating modes (delayed, non-delayed, latched)
RX-92 receiver 2 channels, 6 operating modes
Fob options 1, 2, and 4-button ADA-compliant key fobs
Low-voltage wiring Required
BasisStructured, independently qualified product connection evidence
PreparationMount the RX-92 receiver inside the automatic-door header using its end screw holes or supplied Velcro. The receiver specification calls for two #8 screws at 4-inch centers when screw-mounted; check the mechanical drawing and actual clearance. Select the operating mode and its wiring diagram before connecting the controller, learn the selected transmitters and set the relay hold/sequence timing. Test signal strength at the final location and reposition if reception is poor. Optional daughterboards require static precautions. The CM-RFCT cable-tool is temporary for setup visibility and is unplugged after installation.
ElectricalThe receiver requires 12/24VAC/DC operating power at terminals 1 and 2, two circuit conductors. At 24VAC the manual specifies 23mA nominal and 63mA maximum, plus 5mA per fitted RF module. Relay1 is NO3/common4/NC5; relay2 is NO6/common7/NC8. For each used low-voltage relay output, common plus one selected throw uses two conductors; common plus both throws uses three. Select the receiver operating mode and its timing/wiring diagram before assigning controller functions. The manufacturer prohibits using this RF system as a safety device and directs safety devices to be wired directly to the operator control box. Do not use TX-9 transmitter factory leads or the temporary RFCT cable-tool as the receiver field cable specification. Field cable type, gauge, shielding and physical routing remain installation-specific.
