Low-voltage wiring Connection count needs review
PreparationDetach the aluminum endcap covers, position the endcaps on the door frame and door along the loop path, and mark cable-passage and mounting holes. Drill the documented 3/8 inch (9.5mm) cable-passage holes through frame and door. Drill 5/32 inch (4mm) mounting pilot holes for the supplied #10 x 7/8 inch screws. Insert the selected cables through the loop, secure the endcaps, tighten the loop-end clamp set screws and avoid sharp bends or cable tension. Reattach the covers with #6 x 1/2 inch Phillips pan-head screws.
ElectricalRoute the selected door-device cables through the loop. The manual wire-fill chart describes capacity; it does not specify required conductors, physical cable-run quantity or a mandatory field-wire gauge. Select conductor count, cable type, gauge, shielding and routing for the exact connected device and controller circuit. Do not infer a cable-run count from the number of loops.
