Preparation	Select surface or flush mounting. For the documented WC11PS surface installation, the CM-34BL back-box screw holes must be drilled out before mounting. Position the box on the wall and attach it with the kit-supplied #10 x 1 pan-head screws and green PVC anchors. Align the CM-AF500 faceplate holes with the box holes and secure with the supplied #6-32 screws. For flush installation, use the already roughed-in back box, align the faceplate holes with its screw holes, and securely tighten the supplied #6-32 screws. Confirm the selected box and supplied hardware before installation.
Electrical	The CM-AF500 standalone installation manual, revision January 2026, requires 12 VDC or 24 VDC. Connect red to the specified 12/24 VDC supply (+/-10%) and black to common. Do not apply unrectified AC and do not energize until wiring is complete. For the previously documented WC11PS configuration, retain the Occupied + and Light – controller interface and its two external conductors. Physical cable-run quantity, field wire type, gauge and shielding are still unspecified; confirm the selected controller and site cable schedule.
