Camden's CM-800 Series rocker switches are surface-mount remote door release switches available in weather-resistant aluminum (CM-810/820) or low-profile plastic (CM-830/840/850), designed for releasing maglocks or door strikes and ideal for under-desk or wall mounting in reception areas. The CM-850 model provides Form 'C' contacts field-configurable for momentary (default) or maintained operation.

PreparationUse a surface-mount location such as under a counter or desk for this remote door-release switch. This model uses a NEMA-rated cast aluminum enclosure. Confirm the mounting hardware, substrate and cable-entry arrangement for the delivered enclosure; the manufacturer sheet provides dimensions but no step-by-step preparation procedure.
ElectricalThe exact ordering row describes SPST maintained operation, while the specification block describes SPDT maintained with common, NC and NO. Resolve the fitted contact type and terminal layout before connecting; do not assume an extra throw. The sheet lists 12/24V DC and a 20 Amp contact rating; these are switched-circuit specifications, not a separate powered-device supply instruction. Exact terminal wiring, field conductor count, physical cable runs, cable type, gauge and shielding are not documented.
