Low-voltage wiring Connection count needs review
PreparationSelect the exact ED250 OHC overhead-concealed operator, single or pair-door header, handing and swing/arm arrangement before preparation. Check the opening and jambs for plumb, level and square and use the original OHC template for header fixings, wiring entry and the selected mode/RJ45 panel cutouts. Install the matching operator mounting plate, low-voltage terminal board and selected fixed-stop or panic-breakout hardware, then mount and support the header as instructed. Fit the operator, power module and cables for the actual single/pair arrangement, complete grounding and use the matching setup manual for commissioning and operational checks.
ElectricalThe OHC installation manual specifies a customer 115Vac connection at the main power terminal block and a separate ground-lug connection. Route the incoming wiring into the header using suitable fittings, keep the branch circuit off during connection, use copper conductors and the stated terminal torque, and leave the documented service loop. Keep mains power modules and internal extension cables separate from the low-voltage accessory terminal board and selected actuator, sensor, lock, fire and mode-panel circuits. Use the exact single/pair-door diagram and delivered operator/controller ratings; module/cable quantities are not field conductor or cable-run quantities.
