Preparation	Provide a single-gang electrical box for the standard 960 or 960RO, and a compatible mortise cylinder with a straight or clover cam. Only the 960 has the narrow-stile mounting option. Select the actual switch arrangement and cylinder before installation; the reset/override 960RO has its own switch options.
Electrical	For a selected 960 keyswitch, use the matching manufacturer SPDT or optional DPDT connection diagram; momentary, maintained and pneumatic time-delay versions have different switch arrangements. The manual identifies common, normally open and normally closed switch connections. Its switch contact ratings describe the circuit being switched. If the optional bi-color LED is fitted, connect it according to its separate supply-polarity diagram. Confirm the actual 960 or 960RO member and options before applying a diagram; the consulted 960 manual does not establish 960RO terminal assignments. Factory switch leads do not establish field cable-run quantities or the number of contacts used.
