Camden CX-WEC Series equipment kits are Emergency Call System packages for universal and barrier-free restrooms, meeting current OBC building code requirements. Kits include a 'PRESS FOR EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE' push button, audible and visual annunciators inside and outside the restroom, and instructional signage, with white-only or multi-color (red/green/blue/white) LED dome lights with adjustable sounder available.

PreparationMount the CM-AF540SO combination assistance button and inside annunciator on a double-gang electrical box. Mount the outside dome light (CM-AF141SO) on standard single-gang boxes. Fit the supplied gasket and base, leave the specified small opening at the bottom of the O-ring, fit and lock the lens, apply the labels, and adjust the sounder volume.
ElectricalThe inside and outside annunciators are wired in parallel so they activate together. The K2 manual connects one black CM-AF540SO lead and one grey CM-AF141SO lead to supply negative, the remaining device leads to normally-open terminal 3, and terminal 4 to supply positive. The manual permits 12/24 VAC/VDC for the annunciators and requires DC when integrated with a Camden restroom control kit. Measure both AC and DC voltage before energizing. The K2 drawing specifically shows a 24 VDC supply. Choose field cable specification, actual routing and jacket/run quantities for the installation; factory leads do not establish those quantities.
