PreparationSurvey the actual door/header, mounting strength, available support and protected wiring path before fitting HES 9100. Select the correct door stop and any required header extension or reinforcement, then use its original template to locate mounting and wire-access holes. Use the shim only for the matching existing strike height. Fit the selected fail-secure/fail-safe configuration, secure the strike and verify latch/door alignment and operation.
ElectricalConnect the HES 9100 power pigtail to the selected compliant DC supply/control circuit and connect LM/LMS monitoring only if the ordered option is present. Keep power and monitoring connector functions distinct, protect the wiring within the header/pocket and verify the selected input and release function before service. Optional monitor contacts and factory connector pins do not establish installed field conductors or cable-run quantities.
