Camden CX-ED1689L and CX-ED1799L are all-in-one electric locks with Grade 1 fire rating for use with all mortise and cylindrical locksets. Both models include latch monitoring and come with 4 or 8 faceplates, offering universal performance with field-selectable voltage and fail-safe/fail-secure operation.

| Preparation | This body-only listing requires a separately selected faceplate. Check the existing jamb cutout against the actual strike/faceplate template, mount with the specified machine screws and test-fit before final tightening. Position the bolt-monitor assembly for the actual handing. Adjust the keeper gap with the supplied shims and securely retighten the retaining screws. Fit the deadbolt bracket only as required by the selected lockset, engaging its key in the strike slot before fastening. Confirm the permitted fire-rated configuration with the manufacturer before relying on a rating: the installation manual says fail-secure only, while the2026 addendum labels fail-safe.
