CX-DA-400 double gang door monitor alarm features a rugged stainless steel faceplate, 4 inputs, 5 outputs and has a range of adjustable time delay functions. It is designed to complement any access control system by providing prop/door held open and intrusion/door forced open detection, as well as local alarm and reset.

PreparationFlush-mount in a double-gang electrical box with the manual-required 2.5-inch depth. Configure the selected door supervision, intrusion detection, valid-user shunt/voltage-sense and alarm timing options before commissioning. Leave the reserved diagnostic jumper OFF. The DA401-only tamper-switch procedure is not assigned to the DA400. Test valid access, door-held alarm, forced-door alarm and reset/bypass behavior for the selected configuration.
ElectricalPower input is 12 to 24 VAC/DC at TS1 terminals 11/12, non-polarized. The NC door contact uses TS1 7/8. Optional dry-contact shunt uses TS1 1/2, voltage sense uses TS1 3 negative and 4 positive, remote LED uses TS1 5/6, and NO remote reset/bypass uses TS1 9/10. Set the input jumpers for the selected interface. Optional TS2 output groups are bypass/key status COM13 NO14 NC15, intrusion/tamper COM16 NO17 NC18, door-prop COM19 NO20 NC21, and door status COM22 NO23 NC24. Select COM with NO or NC for each used circuit; these alternatives are not cumulative. Outputs change state on power loss. Each selected external low-voltage circuit uses two conductors; physical runs, shared routing and cable specification remain site decisions. Door supervision requires the specified resistor network at the door contact; confirm the delivered network values and remote LED compatibility before connecting those options.
