Product specifications
Low-voltage wiring Connection count needs review
PreparationThe CX-DA300 fits a double gang back box that is 2.5 inches deep, and the box is not included. The faceplate is flush mounted on a double gang electrical box. The instructions also show attaching a grounding wire and securing the plate with the included screws.
ElectricalSupply is 12/24V AC/DC. For the illustrated relay unit, the manual connects the higher-voltage supply to the leads with diodes; for lower-voltage operation it removes those leads and connects the supply to terminals 1 and 2. These supply connections are non-polarized. Connect the normally-closed door contact to terminals 3 and 4, and optional remote alarm monitoring to terminals 5 and 6. Each selected external circuit uses two field conductors; cable jackets and physical runs are site-specific. Attach the grounding wire as instructed, separately from these low-voltage circuit counts. The alarm relay is NC SPST and changes state on alarm or loss of power. The DA300 key switch is factory-prewired to bypass the unit and light the LED when turned OFF; this local wiring is not an external cable run. The published timer ranges conflict between the specification narrative and the manual/table. Confirm the actual adjustment range, set the required delay and test the installation.
