Camden CX-WEC Series equipment kits are Emergency Call System packages for universal and barrier-free restrooms, meeting current OBC building code requirements. PreparationMount the CM-AF142SO on a standard single-gang electrical box. Place the supplied gasket between the base and box and secure the base with 6-32 screws. Fit the O-ring in the front channel with a small opening left at the bottom. Insert the large bottom lens tab first, snap the top tabs into place, and fit the Phillips locking screw at the bottom of the base. Apply the required labels. Adjust flash rate using the potentiometer and adjust sound volume with the rear screw; counter-clockwise reduces volume and clockwise increases it.
ElectricalLow-voltage field wiring is required. The CX-WEC10CK2 manual specifies 12/24 VAC/VDC for CM-AF142SO; when integrated with Camden restroom controls, DC must be used. Measure the supplied voltage on both DC and AC ranges before connection. For the documented kit wiring, black is common; choose the red, green or blue lead for the corresponding color, or combine all three color leads for white.
