Lazerpoint RF is a battery-powered 915MHz wireless door control system offering spread-spectrum wireless communication, signal-strength indicators, and 'push and learn' transmitter registration for easy installation. It spans the widest range of transmitters, receivers, activation devices, and switch boxes, including the CM-RX-90 single-relay receiver with 3 operating modes and the RX-92 two-channel receiver with 6 operating modes.
| Wireless frequency | 915 MHz spread spectrum |
|---|---|
| Battery | multi-year battery life (AAA alkaline or lithium), with low-battery audible alerts, fuel-gauge indicator, and stuck-switch indicator |
| CM-RX-90 receiver | 1 relay, 3 operating modes (delayed, non-delayed, latched) |
| RX-92 receiver | 2 channels, 6 operating modes |
| Fob options | 1, 2, and 4-button ADA-compliant key fobs |
| Low-voltage wiring | Connection count needs review |
| Preparation | Use the supplied key ring for portable attachment, or select the compatible mounting base for wheelchair, belt, visor or desk use. The CR-2032 battery is pre-installed; press a button and check the green transmission indicator. Enrol the selected button with the intended receiver and verify the resulting door action. This exact variant has two buttons. The LP suffix identifies the recessed-button variant. |
| Electrical | The fob is powered by its internal CR-2032 lithium battery and sends activation by radio. Receiver power and relay wiring are separate installation items. The manual describes learning a button through PB1 or PB2 on the selected RX-91 or RX-92 receiver; for a multi-button fob, assign each required button to the intended receiver/channel. Verify programming against the actual receiver revision. Replace a low battery using the documented case-opening procedure and preserve battery polarity. Field wiring at the receiver must not be attributed to this handheld fob. |
