Camden's SureWave touchless switches (CM-324, CM-325, and related CM-331/332/333/336 models) are hands-free door activation switches with adjustable operating range (1-30") and adjustable time delay (1-5 seconds), designed for economical door activation while reducing the spread of germs. CM-324 is line-powered with 1 relay for general use; CM-325 offers short-range sensing suited to confined areas such as restrooms.

PreparationFor the base single-gang CM-336, use an in-wall box that is plumb, square and flush with the wall, or a surface box that is secure and plumb. The supplied sealing gasket is recommended for outdoor or wet locations. Set LED/sounder options, secure the unit and faceplate with the supplied screws without overtightening, and insert the two AA batteries into the pre-installed holder with correct polarity. Pair with the selected compatible Lazerpoint receiver and verify activation and range. The base single-gang model does not inherit narrow-variant box-depth requirements.
ElectricalCM-336 uses two AA batteries and its built-in 915 MHz transmitter for base activation. Pair it with a compatible CM-RX90 V2, CM-RX91 or CM-RX92 receiver; the receiver power and relay wiring are separate installation items. The rear view also labels an optional Request to Exit input. Confirm the remote-device electrical interface and terminal specification before connecting that option; battery operation does not prove that every optional configuration has no field wiring. LED and sounder enable settings affect battery consumption.
