Camden's SureWave touchless switches (CM-324, CM-325, and related CM-331/332/333/336 models) are hands-free door activation switches with adjustable operating range (1-30") and adjustable time delay (1-5 seconds), designed for economical door activation while reducing the spread of germs. CM-324 is line-powered with 1 relay for general use; CM-325 offers short-range sensing suited to confined areas such as restrooms.

PreparationFor the base single-gang CM-332, use an in-wall box that is plumb, square and flush with the wall, or a surface box that is secure and plumb. The supplied sealing gasket is recommended for outdoor or wet locations. Bring field wiring through the rear or side with approximately 6 inches available for connection. The manual describes a four-conductor basic connection; selected second-relay or input circuits need their own conductors. Complete wiring and set the operating mode before applying power. Secure the unit with the supplied screws, adjust range and delay, then fit the faceplate without overtightening.
ElectricalOperating power is 12-24 V AC/DC, 40 mA, on TB1 pins 1 and 2, non-polarized. Relay 1 is TB3: pin 1 NO, pin 2 COM, pin 3 NC. CM-332 additionally has relay 2 on TB4 with the same pin order; relay-2 modes apply only to CM-332. For a selected low-voltage NO output, use two external field conductors on NO/COM. Select contact state and timing for the actual mode. TB2 pins 1/2 are a dry-contact REX pair and pins 3/4 a normally-closed door-contact pair used for security mode. The remote light-ring text conflicts: the input table names TB2 pins 5/6, while another paragraph names TB5 and reverses open/closed colour behavior. Confirm the delivered board instructions before wiring that option. The optional TX99 module and plug-in light ring are local accessories, not extra external cable runs. The 3 A at 30 VDC relay rating is a contact limit. Select cable gauge, shielding, routing and run quantities for the chosen circuits.
