Camden Door Controls CM-9000 Series exit switches are vandal-resistant pushbuttons designed for high-traffic or vandal-prone applications, with all-metal construction and a steel button countersunk in a heavy-duty 1/4" thick brushed aluminum faceplate. DPDT switches are UL/CSA approved, rated 6 amps @ 30 VDC, in momentary or maintained configurations.
| Contact rating | 6 amps @ 30V DC |
|---|---|
| Switch type | DPDT (momentary or maintained) |
| Material | all-metal, vandal resistant construction |
| Finish | brushed aluminum |
| Input voltage | 12V or 24V DC |
| Low-voltage wiring | Required |
| Basis | Structured, independently qualified product connection evidence |
| Preparation | Provide the single-gang mounting arrangement for this exact model. The switch is supplied assembled to its faceplate. Complete wiring, then attach it to the selected switch box, wall or receptacle box with the supplied tamperproof or stainless Phillips screws. For outdoor use the manual calls for an extra-cost rubber weatherproofing gasket behind the faceplate; confirm compatibility for the purchased variant and do not assume it is included. Preserve the supplied PUSH TO EXIT graphics; the exact PTE model is listed without button/finish options. |
| Electrical | This exact model provides momentary DPDT operation. For each used pole, select common plus NO or common plus NC, two external circuit conductors; using common with both throws uses three. Repeat that selection for the actual used poles, without summing alternative configurations or assuming common connections between poles. The momentary lead table gives common grey or black, NO blue or green and NC orange; verify the delivered lead set and actual pole grouping. Contact ratings describe the controlled circuit, not a separate switch supply. Factory leads do not establish field cable type, gauge, shielding or physical run quantities; obtain these from the connected equipment and site routing. |
