Camden's CX-ED1959 Series outdoor-rated electric strikes feature heavy-duty stainless steel construction with an integrated ANSI square faceplate and Grade 1 performance, compatible with cylindrical and centreline mortise locksets without deadbolts (CX-ED1959-MB) or with RIM exit devices (CX-ED1959RM-MB). Both models include a heavy gauge painted steel mounting box at no additional charge.

| Preparation | Use the standard version with the compatible cylindrical or centreline mortise lockset without a deadbolt. Select the mounting method for the actual wood, hollow-metal, ANSI or gate installation. Align the strike to the latch and use the matching template; test-fit the mortise before fastening. For gate mounting, secure the supplied metal box by welding or screws as instructed, then fasten the strike inside and route its wires through the planned opening. If changing fail mode, follow this model manual to reposition the solenoid and delicate spring, then carefully reseat the rubber grommet in the back-cover groove during reassembly. Verify latch engagement, release and exit-hardware operation. |
